Also, EndPoint has a startup screen! That’s an excellent and easy way to test screens.

Those are PowerStep01 drivers. They are becoming a 3d printer.

Well, I ended up converting my sandwich into a salad. It seems SPI is only on the Mikroe ports. Oops.

What prevents you using SPI?

Its only on the Mikroe ports not the 40pin connector.
