Hello, could someone please help me out by providing download links to the files that were originally linked in steps 2 and 3 here: http://old.ghielectronics.com/support/netmf . Step 2 was originally a zip file with two files. The links take me to the archived codeplex site with nothing to download. I have around 20 Gadgeteer Spider kits that I wan’t to use with schoolkids but need all the install files for VS2013. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.
I don’t have too much time to explain or test it out, but here’s what I think. Download the ZIP archive of the Gadgeteer project (top right corner). Open that, dig into the “releases\10” filder, and copy the file named 9c636665-0854-48e2-b9de-a5a773042f7f, copy that elsewhere and rename it as GadgeteerCore.msi. This is release 2.44.1100, that added netmf 4.4 capability. If you can try that out and let us know if it worked? I think it should help…
Thanks Brett! Downloaded a 3.5GB archive and managed to get the files I need through looking up the JSON file. A completely bizarre approach to accessing archived files, why not just host them on Github? Anyway I have what I need, but guessing there will be others looking for the same files and facing this issue.
When I install I’ll report back on how it goes.
