Read the “Elephant in the Room” titled comment from Bryan Costanich, the co-owner of wilderness labs, about this issue, under the “Miscellaneous” category of their forum, around July 2017. It appears he is not in any way involved in Wilderness Labs.

Thanks for pointing out that post. Not sure it completely cleanses my palette of bad taste, but I will take him at his word that CW does not benefit from the ongoing work of Wilderness Labs.
