So I manged to acquire some high speed 4 port hubs to use with my pocket beagles
It turns out that the device (in purple) exposes the usb pins as headers on the back of the board. So, with some cable modifications, I made a power cable so that the beagle and the hub can be powered independently. The Wifi that I have on it draws too much power for my purposes. In case anyone wants to know about the connection: To get a host port on the pocket beagle, you have to connect ID to GND and VB to VI. The processor won’t startup usb1 as host without it.
Sadly, one of the pocket beagles died after soldering and cleaning. I don’t know what I did wrong but clearly I don’t know how to handle sensitive electronics.
